To ensure the traceability of bovines, ovines, and cervids while simplifying your life, we offer you various tools compatible with RFID type identifiers.

RFID reader sticks and the SimpliTRACE Express and SimpliTRACE Mobile apps allow you to make your various declarations electronically and save them in SimpliTRACE.

SimpliTRACE Express

The SimpliTRACE Express app, developed by Attestra, allows for the transfer of ID numbers entered into the SimpliTRACE app using an electronic stick reader.

Easy to install, SimpliTRACE Express has been designed for use on a personal computer (PC). Once the stick reader is connected, the application collects the stored data and transfers it to SimpliTRACE. A free download from the Attestra website, this data import application is compatible with all stick readers sold by Attestra.

Opening a SimpliTRACE account is required in order to use SimpliTRACE Express, i.e., you must have a username and password. If you do not have a SimpliTRACE account, contact one of our Attestra customer service agents at 1 866 270-4319.

Downloading and Installing SimpliTRACE Express on your computer

To install the SimpliTRACE Express application, your computer must meet the following technical requirements:

Type of equipment: Must be installed on a desktop computer (PC, or Personal Computer). SimpliTRACE Express cannot be installed on mobile devices such as smartphones.
Operating System: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. SimpliTRACE Express is not compatible with Apple iOS systems.
Other technical requirements: operating the SimpliTRACE Express application requires the use of Java. The most recent version of Java can be downloaded here: https://www.java.com/en/download/

SimpliTRACE Mobile

SimpliTRACE Mobile is an app available on iPhone and Android mobile devices that allows Québec producers to make their traceability declarations more easily.

Offered free of charge, this new declaration tool has been designed so that producers can access the entire list of tags associated with their file straight from their phones, reducing the risk of transcription errors.

Opening a SimpliTRACE account is required to access the SimpliTRACE Mobile application. Additionally, users must have a minimum amount of mobile data available on their smartphone or access to a WIFI network for downloading the application and transmitting declarations.

Download and Install SimpliTRACE Mobile for your Mobile Device

To be able to install the SimpliTRACE Mobile application, you must meet the minimum technical requirements listed below:

Type of device: must be installed on a cellphone running Android (Version 4.4 or newer), or an iPhone running iOS version 12.0 or higher
Other technical requirements: Access to an account on either Google Play or the Apple Store to download the SimpliTRACE Mobile application.

RFID Readers

Do you want to be able to file your traceability forms more quickly? Have you thought about getting a RFID reader?

Capable of storing hundreds of electronic tag numbers, these readers are compatible with electronic weigh-scales, several types of management software and both SimpliTRACE Express and Simplitrace Mobile.
