soil<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da7ea66 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"da7ea66\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Traces Qu\u00e9bec is available since September 22, 2021. This new traceability system allows for contaminated soil to be tracked from their original location to their final destination. It was developed and is managed by Attestra on behalf of the Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b9f94e6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b9f94e6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>As of January 1, 2023,\u00a0the use of the Traces Qu\u00e9bec system has been mandatory for all excavated contaminated soils transported off-site. This traceability is required under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.environnement.gouv.qc.ca\/sol\/terrains\/loi-reg.htm#tracabilite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">R\u00e8glement concernant la tra\u00e7abilit\u00e9 des sols contamin\u00e9s excav\u00e9s<\/a>\u00a0(French only).\u00a0It should be noted that fees per metric ton are payable under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/document\/cr\/M-11.6,%20r.%201?&amp;target=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regulation respecting the fees payable with respect to the
