Longueuil, September 19 2024 – Attestra would like to inform you that, as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our products and meet the needs of Québec’s livestock producers regarding animal identification and traceability, we have implemented various pilot projects over the years.
Among these is the Maxi, a new tag for bovine species featuring a larger visual panel than the standard one. This design provides better visibility of the number even as hair grows in the ears over the year. This tag will be available starting October 7, 2024, for both beef and dairy bovine producers, in FDX and HDX versions (electronic reading technology). Both technologies are compatible with all reading wands distributed by Attestra, as well as with equipment used by animal auctions and slaughterhouses.
